Rileyville Va is between Front Royal and Luray on 340, about 9 miles north of Luray.  It will feel like the remote wilderness, but is less than a 20 minute drive from restaurants, grocery stores and anything you need.

Columbia Va is about 45 minutes west of Richmond.  It's about a half hour drive from Goochland, where you can get groceries or enjoy a dinner out.

Littleton NC is the best part of Lake Gaston, with beautiful scenery, deep water, and great fishing.  All while close to the local Food Lion and some great restaurants.
